Grandma Sandie and Grandpa Doug

A thank you to Grandma Sandie and Grandpa Doug
A trip to Arizona a few years back. Doug is a tall guy, so you can just imagine how tall the cactus are.
Grandma Sandie and Spencer when he was a couple of weeks old. It is weird that this is Spencer in the picture and not Cora. The blue and green tell me it's not Cora.
It is so much fun to go and see Grandma at school. We get to see her in action and be cool around the big kids.
Grandpa is awesome to take us fishing even if some don't want to touch the fish. Carter and Grandpa were the only ones to catch fish the entire trip.
How cool is it when your Grandpa is Santa Claus?Even when your Grandpa is Santa Claus, we still get a little nervous. So I suppose your pregnant mom has to break Santa's knee in order for you to get a picture taken with Santa.
Grandma and Grandpa are great to take the kids for a night or two here and there in order to give mom a break. I know how exhausting it is to chase after two boys, so kudos to G and G for keeping up with them. Thank you for helping me out and spending time with them. The boys love their trips to Grandma and Grandpa's house. They love playing in the yard, making dirt cities, going to monster truck shows, going to movies, wrestling, eating junk food and finishing the night off with a slumber party. Grandma Sandie and Grandpa Doug Rock!

Happy Father's Day

Happy Father's Day! Ryan's heart melted the minute he held Cora. He has a bond with her only a father can have with a daughter. He kept saying he just wanted another boy, but I think it was because he didn't want to have the feelings he does for a little girl. HIS LITTLE GIRL.The boys love to play with their dad. They "Hop on Pop" and wrestle all of the time. Ryan lets them jump around and be boys. I love to sit an watch them play and have "guy time".
Father's Day was a great time. Ryan loved his new ipod. He got breakfast in bread - a 2-egg omelet and fruit- a light breakfast as he had requested. It was followed with some father-son time and a movie. The day finished with some pizza and a trip to see Grandpa Lloyd. Spencer told both Grandpa and Grandma Lloyd Happy Father's Day. It was very cute. What a great weekend starting with the new tent and ending with a fun relaxing Father's Day.

Our New Tent

Camping In the Back Yard
Nothing is more fun than setting up a new tent and air mattresses and jumping around. Carter and Spencer convinced their dad that they needed to spend the night in tent. Camping in the back yard is the best.

The tent is huge. It is supposed to sleep 8 people. This is what happens when you go to Costco with no particular plan. That night Ryan and the boys fell asleep in the tent, but Ryan quickly put them to bed in their own beds after they fell asleep. Carter had a baseball game the next morning and with Ryan being the coach, they both needed good sleep. The father-son camp-out is quickly approaching, so the tent will get it's use.

Last Day of Kindergarten

The Program
Carter looking cute as always. It was the best smile I could get out of him. They did a great job singing all of their songs. Carter's favorite song was "A Hunting We Will Go". I got quite a few previews throughout the year.
Mrs. Witgenstein is a great teacher. She was an awesome first teacher. She was a lot of fun and really worked hard to build up the children's self-esteem. Thank you for all of your hard work, Mrs. Witgenstein. Teachers to come will have big shoes to fill.

Blessing Day

The Blessing that is Cora! The Family Picture in front of the Church building. Wait! Is that Josh and Bailey in the window?!
Now lets try this again! Come on Spence! I know this is your nap time and all - but could we get a little smile?
It's my Party, I can sleep if I want to. Sleep if I want to. Sleep if I want to. You would sleep too, if it happened to you.
Grandma Sandie and Spence sharing some yummy desert. Can't beat Grandma Lloyd's brownies. Everyone is still trying to figure out how she does it.
Josh, Ivie and Tenley kicking back. Now you can be in the picture Josh.
Mark and Karen also enjoying Grandma Lloyd's yummy brownies. We really can't get enough.

Andrea, Carson and Natalie enjoying some ice cream. This is Carson's party too. He got baptized the day before.
Is that Santa Claus? No, it's Grandpa Doug!
The brownies have been mentioned a couple of times, now here is the creator - Grandma Lloyd. Finally awake and happy. Daddy did a really nice job with his blessing. Cora did really well during the blessing. When the circle broke at the end for everyone to see her, her eyes were wide open like she new what took place. Grandma Lloyd purchased her dress at Dillards in Scottsdale. It was a sweet and beautiful dress. Thank you Grandma Lloyd.
